An assault on the senses

It was very dramatic on the beach this morning, hugely noisy waves, spray everywhere. Not a swimming day although Rosie did decide advanced paddling was appropriate.

Did all the shopping for my Friday birthday party. Spoke to my mum briefly as she dropped of my cards informing me there is a postal strike on my birthday! So rude of everyone. Took receipt of my birthday wine box. One day left at work before holiday time!
