Norland Moor

A warm and sunny September day with rain late afternoon.

I did an hour's gardening this morning. Early afternoon I called in at the Hub Cafe at the church in Norland for tea and cake (outside in the sun) and then headed out onto the moor for a 5 km walk.

The terrain is challenging with protruding rocks. The ground was generally dry and hard with very little mud. I covered the 5 km in 55 minutes.

The pond on the moor (see extra) is still only a fraction of its normal size
