Common Blue

A few Speckled Wood were around on the butterfly transect this afternoon plus one rather striking Common Blue.

A day somewhat disjointed by having to take the car for its annual MOT test. As its milometer clicks ever closer to 100,000 miles I'm always expecting it to fail but glad to say it was ok for another year.
