Checkpoint Charlie

Seeing a part of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie was such an exciting piece of history to witness. I recently read a book, The Girl Behind the Wall, about a family separated when the wall was erected, and this really brought it to life. We were on our feet all day exploring this beautiful and fascinating city!
Grateful for…a tip from my neighbor to eat curry wurst and Doner at a street stand. It was absolutely delicious!
