Windows…..

…….in a house near to where Maisie and I start our early morning walk. The house faces east. There was a vivid band of glowing red low in the sky and some of the light was reflecting on the windows. The mornings are becoming lighter and lighter. We had a heavy frost this morning. I was awakened around 3.am by the drone of helicopters flying slow and low and hovering over vineyards to the west. Or it may have been wind machines. Some early varieties of grapes are starting to bud and need protection from frosts.
