Earthworks

After a very long wait (almost a year) work has commenced on replacing our patio. After a very long dry spell it has started raining - typical! - although this does not deter Nick who is young, skilled, a good communicator and knows what he is doing. I wouldn’t have a clue. I know I can do lots of things he knows nothing about which makes me celebrate that we are all different and have our own skills and talents.
He started on Monday so is making good progress. We are expecting a delivery of dumpy bags filled with, er, ‘stuff’, which will enable him to begin laying the ‘stuff’ and then the slabs on top of it.
