Cunningham House and the Rose Garden

It seemed everyone in the Botanic Gardens today was a photographer. It's not often that you see so many folk wandering around with tripods and flash cameras, so today I felt in good company :-)

I've been meaning to get this shot for some time; I was hoping for a bit more warmth from the setting sun, but as each day passes this gets more difficult by the time I can get to the gardens.

The mist and sunshine this morning through the park this morning was stunning, as was the mountain views from across Lake Ellesmere on the journey to work. I think I might have to look at shooting at the other end of the day for a change.
