(great 9 mile round trip hike with these two friends - birthday cupcakes, a memorial of a deceased sister, talk, humongous old growth tree leftovers, hard to imagine what it was like with trees this - extra - size rising all around you, a lovely lake, and crossed paths with only a man and his dog, and a young couple - unheard of!)
