Evening Sunlight

Late start and leisurely morning and then I drove to Dalkeith to meet up with 2 of my ex colleagues for lunch. It was sunny on the drive up but on the way back I found myself in the eye of the storm and had to slow down to a crawl! I was grateful to get home in one piece. Sadly it didn’t rain on our new PM. The sun came out again briefly in the evening.
Book night tonight. Good Wives by Margaret Forster. Very interesting book. Does make you realise how tough it was for women in the not so distant past.
