Nit Picking

Ds came home from school yesterday complaining of an itchy head.

The school had sent an email so I had a look and frankly discovered a colony.

Ds has thick dark dark hair and has just started doing his ablutions on his own. The top looked fine but move a few layers and it was rather icky.

We left promptly to walk to the chemist and I bought this delightful comb and some cheap conditioner with tea tree. I am a bit funny about chemicals and they were blooming expensive !!

So I deloused Ds1 and ds2 and Dh (just to be careful) and then he found a dead nit on me and I got all icky. You know the romance is dead when your husband is picking dead nits off you.

I now think it was probably one that got flicked at me as I have found no other evidence but oh my do I itch.

I also took dd to concert band and wangled a free swim, steam room and jacuzzi. Cracking and at least I figured I was taking any nits that might be hiding for a nice trip out.

So I shall be delousing Dd tonight though I can see no evidence but I am taking no chances and then Ds1 and 2 again tomorrow. This is one top of11 plus tuition , music coaching, reading, beavers and work !

I feel all horrible and dirty and itchy still though but the weather is glorious !!!!!!
