Red nose
We are still at the inlaws and it's red nose day today. I couldn't resist getting a red nose and the accompanying toy (a growling dino toy!) for Noah. When daddy came home from work he had loads of fun taking the nose from daddy but wasn't sure about the growling toy at all. He was ok with it if I made it growl as he looked at it, but if he had his attention anywhere else then he looked at it as if it was the most horrifying thing in earth. I would have taken a photo of his reaction had the guilt not set in, bad mother!!
Watching red nose day on tv as a mother for the first time, wow. I've always considered myself to be compassionate but I couldn't watch it without pouring tears. Watching the little african babies die when my happy healthy son was fast asleep in his comfy warm bed gave me chils and I wih that I could give my milk to those poor starving babies, or at least feed their mothers so that their little bodies could produce milk for their own children.
Cruel world :(
