Justice Delayed, Justice Denied

We invited family over this evening for a seafood boil to celebrate Labor Day and needed to pick up a few things. We ended up driving over to Wegman's in Alexandria. 
While we were nearby, we stopped by the Carlyle area to take a walk. 
The Albert V. Bryan Courthouse is imposing, but what caught my eye was the relief of the tortoise and the hare at the base of Lady Justice's pedestal.
