Light

When I paint I always want to paint the light and the atmosphere... this caught my eye today and I had to get a photograph of it.. perhaps I will paint it in the near future.  The maps we were shown during the heatwave of the UK turning brown was all such drama.. really the country turns that colour as the corn harvest ripens anyway.. there is little evidence of drought or dying greenery here.. nature has a remarkable ability to survive and recover from extremes.. as they say, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Having said that the heat this summer and the climate news from around the world has made me more determined to do everything within my power to turn the tide of the climate change and so must we all or it will never happen
