There were many options for this challenge, but at 545 this morning this one just stuck out...

The flipping Tram!

I'm no city planner or engineer, but a track on a road seems to me to be fairly straightforward.....yet somehow it requires digging up the Marina, al Sufouh road and stops my uturn into Dubai College twice a week.

Visiting our Ocean Heights friends is a hassle, though by the looks of things surely the stupid thing must run straight beside the apartment.....getting in and out of the marina is an hour wasted, and generally going places in the area is like playing chicken with workers, concrete dividers and the courteous Dubai traffic in general.

If the tram ever comes to tecom, we are leaving.
