Splash

Walked along the river to the pavilion for coffee and then on to the priory for a closer look. Walking down towards the stepping stones we saw a family group crossing very slowly and took a few shots. We got to the bridge just as the splash happened and a guy, not part of the family group had been crossing quite quickly with phone in hand and lost his balance when he came to a halt behind the family. He went right in, shirt and bag wet, and walked out.
We took the bridge.
Weather lovely, warm and dry. Lunch at van and then off for another walk later in the afternoon, up to some ruins.
The disappointing part of the day was the email I received from Evri, was Hermes, saying they delivered my parcel and left it in my safe place with a photo of it sitting on the step. They asked for feedback, and got it. The delivery was scheduled for Wednesday.
Fortunately a text to my friend that lives across the street and she will pop over and get it.
