Goodbye

saying goodbye hurts. in the new school year I will no longer be with the suns. That’s what Kay and his parents say. We will miss Kay on the sun-group, but he is making a very big step! He is going to a special school for handicapped children to grow even further then he already did at our special group!

Today I went to the Sun group again. first letters of 'care and education now' in Dutch spell out the dutch word for sun. and sunshine they are, the children in the group. all with their own handicap and with their own limitations, but much more: all with their own opportunities to grow!
it was a joy to be on the group again. and to see how the children from the regular classes came to say hello again at the window. my day was completely sunny despite the clouds outside!
