I've spent a little time reflecting on the democracy we we enjoy and I think perhaps take for granted. That 81,000 people get to select our Prime Minister is bad enough, my reading of them is that they are all pretty well healed and will cope with rising cost especially as they will benefit most from the promised tax cuts.  The UK badly needs electoral reform but I doubt I will ever see it...
