My Little Friend

I spent the afternoon working in the garden, starting to tidy up and getting rid of some dead stuff like dahlias; the drought has finished them off.  At one point, whilst emptying pots into the compost, I was joined by this scruffy Robin.  He/she showed no fear, settling on the board about 3 feet from where I was working and watching for worm grabbing opportunities as I emptied the pots of soil into the compost bin. Even posed a little when I took my phone out to grab a few shots. It was a lovely few minutes.
