Corn and Oak

One of our favourite walks, up Chillington Avenue, out along Park Lane and back along the Shropshire Union Canal.  This field has this wide area on the edge set aside from the crop. On one of the other sides sunflowers were growing but I couldn't get close enough to make a pleasing composition.

Other than that we had a home day cleaning, L the house while I washed the cars without a hosepipe.  We aren't in an area where it is banned but we are trying to be more careful and I remembered my Dad showing me how to wash a car without first wetting it.  Saying that I was dodging showers that were helping to produce the same result as a hose.
