Come and Get It!

My mind wandered a lot today...thinking about such things as gardens and flowers and Hummingbirds and birdbaths....what spring thing *didn't* I think of today?

It occurred to me that perhaps the reason I cannot seem to capture a good shot of a Chickadee is because I never have good lighting. It was in that moment of deep reflection that an idea came to mind!

So I placed a lid from a jar on the railing, weighing it down with a rock. I added seeds and voila! Not a stellar photo of a Chickadee, but as you can see, the "landing gear" was in liftoff mode, along with the wings!
