We went out on the trail toward Canmore and hit some pretty fast pace considering the elevation and wind. The weather was ready to go either way! But with no snow on the trail we smashed this out and back at 6:45 minute miles. Paul got an upset stomach and we headed back. Sweet technical single track, but the weather was ready to turn! I also saw something large scurry away in the bush, not sure what.

To my excitement and delight my good friend Charlie came up from Fernie and we went and had some chill drinks and great chat. Some guy was playing acoustic guitar and it was very nice being in the warm cozy bar with the weather still on the turn. By the time myself and Kris left it was heavily snowing.

Photo is coming back on the riverside trail. Not alot of people know about this trail as it takes you to the nordic centre out in Canmore. The mountain is Cascade again, but even further away and down the Bow River. Great spot.
