Clearly Meandering

Caramo

I sat next to Caramo today. For a man that has so much to offer and could be working in a dozen countries if he wanted to be, its brilliant and encouraging to see that people like him are committed to defending human rights and childrens rights in his country. After all - who on earth has heard of Guinea Bissau!

The country is so small, weak and obscure nobody cares and that's why its easy for Nigeria and Angola to pull its resources to shreads, for the the Portuguese to hang on to the remaining remnants of a colony it can and for the Brazilians to revel at ridiculously profitable future in using and abusing its 94 islands that make up its labyrinthine archipelago.

It seems that nobody cares about this. Not true. Caramo does, and lots of others too. Problem is - few are listening.
