because i haven’t - done it yet - and i think it’s - worth it to - i thought i’d - cover some fun facts - about sunflowers today

-the sunflower means happiness, honesty, admiration & devotion
-colors range from yellow to red, orange and purple
-they are drought tolerant due to their extensive root system
-they are symbols of nuclear disarmament (to honor ukraine & the soviet union commitment to total nuclear disarmament, reps from the u.s., ukraine & russia planted sunflowers in the locations where there had previously been nuclear missile silos)
-they can absorb radioactive isotopes from the environment
-growing them in fields represents community

these are but - several really fascinating - tidbits i had - no clue about - which involve sunflowers - and clearly are - enough to always - make you want - to have a - sunflower around because - it will lead to…
