Dinner
Our supplies of food are low - deliberately. We have a tendency to buy too much, so we're making a real effort to only buy what we can consume in the next week - we really don't want to take large amounts of consumables with us.
Today it was either eat out or go shopping - we opted to eat out. We'd noted the local Indian restaurant opening at 5.30, and decided to try it. We had the fixed price 4 course "banquet" - it was a lovely meal - in fact, I would say it was one of the tastiest Indian meals I've eaten in a long time - but it didn't really earn the title of banquet. It suited us very well. Unlike most Indian meals, it didn't leave us feeling stuffed. Note the knives - a triumph of design over function - not very effective at pushing rice and curry onto your fork.
Other than that, we've spent part of the day wading through extensive documents sent by our solicitor in Ireland, and then composing an email expressing our concerns over the "indeterminate" southern boundary. We'll follow that up with a phone call tomorrow morning.
