Solace Day 6 - Being Tourists
We came back to the marina a day early as we wanted to do some touristy things in the area.
In the afternoon we got in the car and drove to the home of the late Thomas Patrick John Anson, the well-known Royal photographer, otherwise known as Patrick Litchfield.
We hadn't been here since 1990 when we were invited to exhibit at a Lilliput Lane collectors' fair. I thought it was nice that Lord Litchfield came around and looked at our stands.
I got a surprise when we went into his personal apartment and the hallway was painted bright yellow, the same colour as the jeans he was wearing the day we saw him!
Of all the images I took of the fine buildings, I've chosen the Doric Temple as a blip.
