First day of symphony rehearsals today. Now the former senior bassoonists have left, Katie and her year 11 buddy are the only remaining bassoonists. This means that Katie is going to have a huge number of opportunities this coming year. This means that Katie going to work extra hard this year. She's going to love it all! She's playing the whole of this terms symphony programme. She's previously only been in the Symphony orchestra so far when the contra bassoon has meant they need an additional bassoonist.

She went straight from rehearsals to one of the other boarding houses because her and a friend have decided to have a baking challenge for themselves this year. They started with apple crumble today.
