Bright!

I couldn't resist these tulips. They were in a stone trough against the south-facing outer wall of Castle Toward, and they were obviously benefitting from their sheltered, sunny position: the tulips in my garden are still so far from opening that I doubt they'll be out before the middle of May.

Now I look at them, they seem unreal, but they're not. Maybe we've just got used to winter going on for too long ...
