Baggy Point, AONB

There was a fire at the beginning of last week at this beautiful part of North Devon. According to the Fire Brigade, over 20acres of land at Baggy Point. The National Trust overseas the area, and already set up a request for donations to help in the repair of this important area.

It has been reported that the cause of the fire was a disposable barbeque. There has been a number of fires down here in the west of England that have been linked to these BBQ's. It is unfortunate that no one will be held responsible for the fire. There are some areas in the UK that Coucils have banned their use.  So sad to see :-(
