Open Day in Many Ways
I knew today was going to be a funny one. It always is every year; for the past 4 years. Was speaking to Mum earlier on the phone and we were both saying that we couldn't believe that it was 4 years already since Dad died. Amazing where that time disappears to.
Would love to know what he would think of the photography work I am doing now. He always wanted me to get back into it and I really feel that he is/was the driving force for me to get back into this line. Would love to use his film cameras for a project of some sorts - definitely something to do over the summer months.
I took well over a hundred images today at the open day. I chose this one as felt Dad would have laughed at it for some reason. I wish I could write more eloquently. The thoughts just do not transpire well onto written format!
We were invited to the BCA Open Day where they had 1000's of people passed through their doors. Was a nice afternoon out. We went onto visit Windsor for some shopping, lunch and reminiscing. Few tears at the spot where we took Dad to, could vividly see us being there a good few summers ago. Great to have those memories.
