One very long Lido

The ‘A-Z open water swimming crew’ took off early morning to conquer the Jesus Green Lido in Cambridge.

It was lush being there. I bit nippy but not for long. And it was the longest Lido I’ve swum in, being 90 metres long.

Home before midday to the usual house jobs. For some reason, the washing piles have grown again. Made me think of yeast. It just keeps growing.

Elbows is in Devon for the day at a family wedding.

And quote of the day, from one of the swimming crew … ”It is just me but is the Lido on a slope. I’m sure I was swimming uphill.”. (Said seriously, honestly!)
