Father's Day

C's present to S was a night at the movies to be taken immediately lest it be forgotten. So we went to see Where the Crawdads Sing. Having read the book with book club I was a little worried how it would be interpreted but I have never seen a film that sticks so closely not only to the story but to the feel of the book and the details of the setting. I was impressed....and in memory of friends far away we made sure we had choc tops and popcorn.
