Queen Anne’s Lace
I left my sister’s house late without an image to blip. I tried to photograph the moon, but I was thwarted by clouds. Queen Anne’s Lace (Daucus carota) is the most abundant plant in my sister’s meadow, so I chose one of the flowers as my subject. This is another plant that is considered to be an invasive and noxious weed in Michigan. It was apparently introduced into North America as a medicinal herb.
