Avenches Tatoo

Our first visit to the Avenches Tattoo. It was fabulous and especially as it’s set in a Roman amphithéâtre. Wonderful to hear bagpipes and the Swiss drummers were amazing. A very international Tattoo with bands from all over Europe.

We spent the night in the campsite at Murten Lake. Met up with friends, had a walk, dinner by the lake then met others friends to watch the Tattoo.Very lucky with the weather.
