Oars on the canal again

Fetched a newspaper, and vegetables from the farmers' market, first thing. Several showers in the morning - it was warm all day, 20C high in the afternoon although mostly cloudy.

Walk down the canal, passing these kayakers, as far as the aqueduct over the Water of Leith, where we met people we know from 2ndSaturdayStrollers walks. Went down to the main road; no 44 busses appeared, and the bus app was being uninformative about when any more might show up, so we went back to the canal and picked up a no 27 further in.
