The Long pond.... again...

The temps were cool again last night. This morning there was nice mist rising off of the long pond so I walked down there to what was what. In the foreground you can see that no water is moving over the dam. The beavers have piled some branches up trying to expand the pond a bit. In the distance where it is shady you can see more of the mist.
I traipsed through the field to try and get a different angle on the pond but it's low enough and the weeds at the edges are tall enough I couldn't get close to pond down there. Plus there were lots and lots of really nice spider webs all through the field and it took me forever to try not to walk through any of them and my pants got soaked. So that wasn't the best idea. I went with the first photo I took and went home and had coffee...
