A WW1 SE5a fighter aircraft being put through its paces at the Large Model Airplane Show at March Marcle, Herefordshire today. They are huge some of these model planes and this one a quarter scale. They look magnificent in the air and with their expert handlers they put on an amazing and exciting show. Sadly there were three expensive accidents, no injuries to report except to the pilot's wallets. The little bear riding in one of the plane's cockpits escaped unhurt but didn't live up to his name - lucky.

S sold a couple of his large models and kindly took us all out for a lovely pub meal this evening.

More flying tomorrow by the men and more watching and some craft for H and me!
