The calm before the storm ......

A wee bit of a different job this morning. Littlemiss and some pals were holding a coffee morning in the village hall to raise charity funds for their upcoming trip .
I was the man in charge of the cash box , Mrs F a busy woman cooking bacon for the bacon rolls and Littlemiss and pals serving and promoting what the school trip aimed to do when they get there.
A very successful morning thanks to everyone's hard work and the generosity of the locals and many friends.
Back to my real job briefly this afternoon,managed to get the oat straw all baled and some of the barley straw before the drizzle started again.
Ho hum.
