Goodbye to Helen and Chris, Misty and Bagel. Bagel is being freighted out to Australia next week, so we won’t be seeing her again soon. She’s a lovely dachshund puppy and I know Helen will miss her a lot.
Anyway, the M25 for the 3rd time was the worst of all, traffic jams nearing the M3 were bad so we headed down the A3 for a while, which helped.
Andrew and Katie welcomed us with a delightful curry and some more birthday presents so it was well worth it!
In extra, an aerial photo of the burn at Old Hall Marshes, a large area of scrubland has gone and I suppose a lot of little creatures too. No doubt it will grow back in time, but they could really use some rain…. it’s raining in Devon!
