Out in the bush

Today we went on the first of several game drives and today's blip is of the vehicle in which we bounced over these sand and dirt tracks in the game reserve. Unfortunately the vehicle broke down at this spot and we had to wait for another one to come with the appropriate tools to do enough of a repair to get us back to base! However we had seen quite a lot of animals before this point, including elephants, hippos and giraffes ... and thankfully no lions decided to join us for the picnic lunch we enjoyed under the shade of a tree while we waited for help to arrive ... !
