Green-veined white butterfly

I tried really hard not to blip another butterfly today. I spotted a very small newt when I was weeding by the pond and rushed in the house for my camera. I needn't have bothered. Newts aren't known for their speed. I took several shots but when I looked at them on the computer, the newt looked like one of those plastic toys that come free with comics or whatever. So, it had to be an obliging green-veined on the last of the Gooseneck Loosestrife.
