Shropshire Sunrise

As usual I woke up early and was fortunate to see a nice sunrise. We had seen a large gathering of swallows on Friday afternoon followed by quite a number of bats at dusk.
To my surprise the bats were still flying at dawn, an excellent start to the day.
We went into Shrewsbury for a wander round and to collect some supplies and have lunch.
When we returned to our accommodation the swallows seem to have departed, perhaps they sensed a change in the weather.
