In the shadow of Soumaya

Mexico for me is a land of stark contrasts, particularly between rich & poor, but also between that old & the modern.

So on the one hand, a truck that looks as though it came from the 50's and very rural against the imposing background of the Soumaya Museum, which is the very essence of a forward-looking, urban Mexico.

Again it also calls to mind the rich/poor divide, as Soumaya is the baby of Carlos Slim - the world's richest man and farmers here, who barely eek out a living from the land.
