Half Time

I had to nip into the centre of Birmingham during my lunch break. I pass through New Street Station twice each day to and from work. I hardly ever make a journey now where I leave the platform areas. As a result I've missed a lot of the work going on 'upstairs'.

It's now halfway on the project to upgrade the station and it's concourses. Some of the new bits opened up last Sunday. By the looks of it the final reveal will be worth waiting for. The new concourse has some large waiting lounges that are not dis-similar to those of an airport.
