Town Hall, Bamberg

This is a very attractive building. Apparently the architect wanted it built on one side of the river but the mayor favourd the opposite side. They agreed to sit down for a beer drinking session before settling the matter. The outcome was to build it in the middle of the river and link it with a bridge either side.
