The elm lives on!

Despite Dutch elm disease from 50 yeasr ago, the hedgerow elms in our area continue to yield up useful firewood.  This dead elm is less than 50 years old and will have grown from the root system that survives in all the mature hedgerows around us.
Note also the recovery from the broken wrist.  Third chainsaw session so far.
