Onwards and upwards
Just back from London after a fabulous arty weekend with my sisters. I was doing so well taking pictures of our jaunt through Islington, along the Regent's Canal and through Camden Passage. Lunch at the gorgeous Food Lab on the Essex Road. Then our artistic efforts to make party decorations for a big family gathering next month - paints and glitter and everything. And on Sunday, a walk along the lovely New River that hardly anybody knows about, but where it rises briefly in Islington is an idyllic stretch of water that you can follow along a winding path bordered by old ivy-clad planes, weeping willows, purple and yellow flags, hostas and blousy blown roses.
All of which I failed to blip.
So today it's back to work and the usual routine. This is the slide in the playground next to the park at the bottom of my street, something I see everyday on my daily commute.
I feel faintly depressed.
