The Galloway Hoard

I’d a visit to the Art Gallery this morning. On loan from the National Gallery of Scotland is the Galloway Hoard : the largest and most varied collection of Viking age objects ever discovered in the UK. It was found in 2014 and is thought to have lain buried for 1000 years. The main blip is a disc brooch and the extra an arm ring.
