Is this a Sanderling?

I am struggling to identify and would appreciate a bit of help from anyone out there?

Brilliant sunny day all the way to Colintraive and back to Glendaruel and then over a road I had never been before to Otter Ferry. Beautiful countryside.

When all the forms were filled went for a wee walk and got quite a few bird photographs but this one I just wasn't sure of, certainly made plenty of noise.
