I noticed this little Five Spot Ladybird resting in a shrivelled Sunflower leaf, so that's where he can stay for how ever long he wants.
I was in a dilemma when deadheading the Dahlias earlier as some had blackfly which in turn were being attacked by Ants and Ladybirds    Should I leave the blackfly as a food source or shorten the life of the Dahlias by leaving the spent flowers.    I just removed the few spent flowers that weren't affected.
