The misery of Dynacare
Early morning on the first day of the latest Covid-not-Covid scare, so took advantage of a relative lull in lurgey to take Ottawacker Jr. to Dynacare so he could get his bloodwork done (primarily follow up to see what the blood in urine was all about).
The problems with an underfunded healthcare system and having to provide a urine sample and blood while fasting are that there are a lot of people needing to be seen and everybody comes at the same time. Out of empathy with OJr, I accompanied him sans coffee - but it isn't a mistake I will repeat.
It actually wasn't too bad, I suppose. It took 2 hours door to door, and that included a stop at the Ichiban Bakery to pick up baguettes and croissants fresh from the oven. Now the wait.
